Steps to install Freshdesk/Freshservice Zoom Integration app:
- Login to your Zoom account using the Admin credentials (refer to video link for instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8aShsFLcZU)
- Click on Advanced>App Marketplace and it will open a new tab
3. Click on Develop>Build App
4. Click on the Create button in the OAuthsection as shown in the below screenshot
5. The below pop-up will open
- Enter an App Name
- Select User-managed app
- Enable the toggle Would you like to publish this app on Zoom App Marketplace?
- Click on Create
6. After you click on the Create button in the above screen, it will redirect to another page.
Here you can see the zoom Client ID and Client secret
Enter https://oauth.freshdev.io/auth/callback in the Redirect URL for OAuth and Add Allow Lists fields as shown in the below screenshot.
7. Click on the Continue button and below screen appears
8. Click on the Add Scopes button to select the access for an agent
9. After “Activation”, again go back to the App Credentials screen and get the Client ID and Client secret
Freshdesk/Freshservice APP Settings Page
- In Freshdesk/Freshservice, go to the Admin section, search for “Zoom” and install the “Zoom V2” or “Zoom – Concurrent Meetings” app and click on the “Install” button.
2. Enter the client ID and Secret from Zoom APP in Freshdesk/Freshservice and click on Authorize or Reauthorize button.
After successful authorization, the App will be installed.
3. In “Ticket Details Page”, once the APP is installed, then for the first time, for each and every agent, it will ask to Authorize for the first time.
4. As soon as you click on “Authorize” button, a new pop-up will open and will ask to Login to the Zoom account.
5. Once you login to the zoom account and refresh the whole page and open the APP, you will see the below screen.
6. Finally click on the “Generate Meeting URL” to generate a zoom meeting and the same link will be added in the “Reply” section.
You can click on “Regenerate Meeting URL” to generate a new zoom link.
